Tiffany Evans Gives Birth
Congratulations Tiffany Evans!!
The 19 year old singer (who we first grew to love as an 11 year old contestant on Star Search) welcomed her first child into the world earlier this week. The baby girl, name Adalia Sarai Henderson, was delivered at an Atlanta hospital and weighted 6 pounds 8 ounces.Tiffany tells Essence.com :What I’m excited about, is just being her mom. She’s already changed my life tremendously and I just want to give all of the love that God has given to me, to her. She is truly my joy.
Back in June, Tiffany shocked her fans when she revealed she was pregnant and had been married to a dancer by the name of Lorenzo Henderson for the past two years.
Young Jeezy Celebrates His 34th Birthday With Usher, TI, & More
Just in time for BET Hip Hop Awards weekend, Young Jeezy shut the city down Friday night with his annual birthday bash held at the Bitmore Ballroom in ATL, with an after party at Vanquish. Jeezy put on his best suit for the festivities that included the likes of Atlanta hitmakers Usher and TI. Other celebs spotted partying throughout the night included former Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu Hartwell, singer Keke Wyatt, Gucci Mane and Meek Mill.

In this day and age, unique style is the "It" thing. People are now shopping in thrift stores, consignment shops, & vintage boutiques to obtain their own personal style...I must say that the NBA guys must have the same stylist though because Wade, Westbrook, Chandler, & Anthony all had on capris this week. *smacks lips* Cute! :-)

Another day, another strip club outing. This time, it's boxing champ Floyd Mayweather and his "Money Team" homie Ray-J hitting up Diamonds of Atlanta last night. Floyd & Ray-J rained a reported $50,000 on these chicks last night in the ATL. All because they just needed something to do, and apparently showering thousands of dollars on ass is hip hop's #1 past time.

An Actual "BasketBall Wife" Joining the Cast
Word has it that Tasha, wife of Stephon Marbury is set to join the cast of Basketball Wives. VH1 for one reason or another has axed most of the other girls (Royce Reed, Kesha Nichols, Jennifer Freeman, & Kenya Bell) and Evelyn Lozada is still not in the clear just yet.Tasha would be a good fit because she is an actual wife and she is already friends with some of the ladies. Introducing Brandy's performance was 14-year-old Latondra Chappell, who was a featured profile during the 2012 MDA SHOW of STRENGTH. Latondra was unable to introduce Brandy in person due to a respiratory illness.

Lupe Fiasco Explains Food & Liquor II's Black Cover
Ashanti warmed up for her new gig as anchor of Fuse’s new daily music show “Fuse News.” One of her first guests was Lupe Fiasco. She asked the Chi-town MC about the simple, yet striking all-black cover for his new album Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1.
Lupe revealed that the cover was inspired by Johnny Cash’s 1971 protest song “Man in Black.” “The reason he wore black, he wore it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime. He’s there ’cause he’s a victim of the time,” he explained. The blank artwork is intended to stand out and make a statement. “It’s the easiest album to find,” said Lupe. “I wanted to have something to cherish, like this is kinda history right here.”

During her trip to Chicago for “American Idol" auditions, Mariah Carey connected in the studio with Chi-town’s own R. Kelly. The pop diva and the Pied Piper recorded a new duet, which Mariah calls a “total classic.”
“Me and Kells in the lab in Chi town working on a new song! OMG-his voice sounds A++&#trappedintgecloset #totalclassic,” tweeted MC, whose new album is due early next year.
The two previously collaborated on a version of “Betcha Gon’ Know,” which was scheduled to appear on Angels Advocate, the scrapped re-release of Mariah’s 2009 album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

(Except for that strange tweet that read, ‘Chris Brown’, which was posted to his account last year).At any rate, yesterday, in preparation of his sold out shows at the new Barclay Center in Brooklyn, Jay tweeted a photo of himself laid out on the Brooklyn Nets logo with a caption that he took from R. Kelly’s ‘Ignition’ lyrics: “Usually I don’t do this but, uh go on and break em off with the preview of the remix”.
The tweet was more than likely in reference to the Barclay Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets, which will open it’s doors tomorrow for the first of eight sold out shows

Other star sightings included Bow Wow, Bridget Kelly, Adrienne Bailon, Irv Gotti, Kris Humphries, and Tracy Morgan.

Samantha Davon James (born December 18, 1986), better known by her stage name 3D Na'Tee, is a rapper, songwriter, and video director. She was born in New Orleans and grew up in the 3rd Ward. After several months spent traveling with Timbaland and other artist signed to his label, a contract was presented to 3D Na'Tee to sign to Timbaland's production company Mosely Music Group and to be managed by members of Timbaland's management team. 3D Na'Tee and Timbaland later announced via Twitter that she was no longer apart of Timbaland's company because she decided not to sign the contract presented. Right before taking the stage in New York City to perform at the vitaminwater #Uncapped concert, Frank Ocean dropped off a new song on his tumblr page called, "Blue Whale."If you are expecting some heartfelt lullabies from the Odd Future crooner, you can forget it this time around.
On "Blue Whale" Frank trades the blues for bars in this track that showcases his rapping ability. This is far from Frank's first rap foray, as he raps on the Odd Future track "Oldie" off of the latest group offering, The OF Tape Vol. 2. He also showcases a few bars here and there on his breakout mixtape, nostalgia:ULTRA.

Dawn Richard weathers the storm on “’86,” the first single off her full-length debut GoldenHeart, the first in a trilogy. The ’80s-inspired synth ballad, produced by Druski, is a sonic departure from the material found on
EP Armor On.
“For ”86,’ my producer Drew and I really went back to the basics,” the former Dirty Money member told Interview. “I also grew up listening to Prince, Genesis, Cyndi [Lauper], Peter Gabriel, and Phil Collins, which you hear a lot of in ’86.’ Their sound resonated in my life and my childhood, so, it’s really in a sense the beginning of my story.”
“’86’ is really the most naked single I’ve ever had,” she explained. “’86’ is actually a slang term—it means to get rid of something. For me, I’ve put up so many walls that I forgot if I was going to do this, that I can’t play the victim, I have to play the survivor. The song’s about ridding yourself of all those barriers so that you can be free and fight for love. That’s what everything I do now is about. The fight for love—what I love, and that’s the music.”
