Dawn Richard (pronounced Ri-Chard) showcases some onstage and offstage moments leading up to her big show at S.O.B.’s in New York last week. The former Dirty Money diva rehearses her new single “’86” in a backstage dressing room with her dancers before hitting the stage, where she performs her Armor On singles “Bombs” and “Faith.” She leads her team in a prayer circle and greets her fans, who she calls Hearts. I've had the pleasure of seeing her live in DC back in May, & she is an outstanding artist. Dawn recently signed a deal with Altavoz Distribution and moved the release date for her full-length debut GoldenHeart to January 15 to accommodate a physical release.

"A Haunted House" Official Trailer - Marlon Wayans New 'Scary Movie' Like Film
With Halloween less than a few days away, its undoubted that frightful films will be making their feature at a cinema nearest you. As always, however, wherever there is a popular franchise of films, there is a Wayans brother to spoof it. Case in point? ‘Paranormal Activity’, which recently saw its fourth edition hit theatres, is now getting the parody treatment from the youngest of the Wayans clan Marlon Wayans. Also starring Cedric the Entertainer, Essence Atkins, Affion Crockett, and more, the January 11, 2013 due clip certainly looks to pick up where Wayans’ involvement in the ‘Scary Movie’ franchise left off.

Although no official police or news reports have been released, the sad news out of Georgia is that Natina Reed was killed Friday night in a car accident. While details are unclear, we are hearing that she was hit while crossing the street in Lawrenceville, GA, on her way back to her house from the store at the gas station. She was 32 years old.
She is survived by her 10 year old son, Tren Brown, who she shared with rapper, Kurupt (they were also engaged at one point). Natina would have been 33 years old on Sunday.

The Game Controversial LP Cover "Jesus Piece"
Game is no stranger to controversy and he’s about to ignite another firestorm with the illustrated cover for his upcoming album Jesus Piece. The religious-themed artwork features a portrait of Jesus with a teardrop tattoo under his eye, a Jesus piece chain around his neck, and red bandana over his mouth.
The image has already sparked outrage from some fans. “You took this shit too far,” wrote one of Game’s Instagram followers, while another added, “Open minded people see this concept, but I think this cover can push some people away homie.”

Lil Wayne had the honor of singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at the San Fran Giants vs. St. Louis Cardinals game at AT&T Park in San Francisco on Sunday. During the seventh-inning stretch, the sports-loving rapper took to the field wearing a Giants jersey over a TRUKFIT hoodie. While he didn’t quite hit it out of the park vocally, he still received cheers from the Giants fans in the stadium.
“Just sung ‘take me out to the ball game’ @ the Giants game!!! A true life highlight! I thank San Fran for rokkin wit me!” tweeted Tunechi.
He proved to be a good luck charm for the Giants, who defeated the Cardinals 6-1.
Kendrick Lamar- A.D.H.D Live outside of Staples Center
On the eve of his album release, Kendrick Lamar stormed the streets of downtown L.A. for an impromptu free concert at L.A. LIVE. Posted atop a double-decker bus outside the Staples Center, the new king of the West Coast performed “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and “The Recipe” off his debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, as well as “HiiiPoWer” and “A.D.H.D” from Section.80.
Once word got out, a crowd began to take over the streets. Police cars and helicopters swarmed the scene and eventually cops cut off Kendrick’s mic and shut down the show.
“As the ghetto bird floats. 2 chainz play in back of my head. They shut Downtown LA down. Due to the chaos of our celebration,” he tweeted. “An oh………..We just caused a RIOT, we just caused a RIOT!”
