Real #PoeticJustice Janet Jackson Brings Back Box Braids [Pics]
Janet Jackson decided to capture the essence of her urban classic movie "Poetic Justice" just in time for the premiere of Kendrick Lamar's video of the same name. The Queen of Pop (any current video with a dance break, has Janet to thank for) was front row at the Versace Womens Wear show during Milan Fashion Week on Friday. Ms. Jackson took it back to 1993, (her Poetic Justice days) rocking box braids as she sat front row with her fiance', Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana.

VH1 TLC Biopic Cast Revealed!!!!
In the movie about one of pop’s top-selling girl groups of all time, Keke Palmer (The Carlina White Story, Akeelah & The Bee) will be playing Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, Drew Sidora (The Game) will play Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Lil Mama will be playing Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Over the weekend, KeKe Palmer had to defend her new acting gig on Twitter. @KekePalmer
I shouldn't play the part because my baby hair isn't the perfect texture? Goodnight Twitter, goodnight.
People kill me, I don't remember Angela Bassett looking ANYTHING like Tina Turner. And she RIPPED that role, ✌
People need to realize that movies aren't casted by people looking like who they're playing. They're casted by who can do the role.
I don't know about you, but I would much rather see a movie that is well acted, then a movie with a bunch of look a like's.
Cause Ben Affleck isn't even Hispanic, but the man he played in Argo IS.
There is also reportedly a petition to keep Lil Mama from doing the movie, I don't understand why people are so against Lil Mama but she's truly a talented rapper and I'm excited to see her acting skills. The TV movie, directed by Charles Stone III (Drumline), will be following TLC’s rise to fame from their 1991 debut Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip to the 1994 certified Diamond album, Crazy, Sexy, Cool. The script is being written by Kate Lanier (Set It Off, Beauty Shop) and production is expected to begin next month in Atlanta.
